Local 132C helps veterans

Local 132C in Grand Rapids Michigan teamed up with local management to hold a fund raiser, in an effort to support a local veterans organization.

The Union found a local Veteran support foundation, West Michigan Alliance for Veterans. An outstanding organization, that supports West Michigan veterans on several fronts. West Michigan Alliance for Veterans offers assistance to local Veterans to help with homelessness, further education, drug and alcohol addiction , as well as a local veteran food pantry

Local 132C raised $3000 dollars by holding a Veterans Day breakfast, accepting only donations. Our other sister unions Local 70C and Local 799C also began holding fundraisers of there own, supporting Veterans organizations in there own areas spreading all across Michigan.
