Johnell McDaniel (ICWUC Local 638C) and Anthony Rogers (ICWUC Local 488C) would like to thank President Heasley and the ICWUC for allowing us to be part of the UFCW Minority Coalition and attend the CBTU convention. The Convention began with three dynamic speakers (President Joe Biden, Rep. Ro Khanna, and President Terry Melvin of CBTU). There were eight hundred delegates in attendance. The issues that we are dealing with affect each of us one way or another. It is not about color; we need support from everyone so life can be a success for all. Whether it is an issue regarding finances, voter rights, gun control, women rights, jobs or health benefits, UNIONS will fight for it! Join the fight!
